Terms of use for the app

These terms apply when you use My Cozy Moment. By using the app, you accept them. If you download it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply.

What My Cozy Moment is

A diary for your hobbies and your calm moments. It’s free and for personal use.

Your data is yours

What you record and the photos you save are yours and stay on your device, as explained in the privacy policy. Since I don’t have any copy, if you delete the app, lose your phone or change phones without having saved a backup, I won’t be able to recover them. Use “Save backup” every now and then.

The account

For now, the account is stored only on your device and there’s no way to recover your password if you forget it. Your projects and your journal don’t depend on the account: they stay in the app even if you sign out.

It isn’t a health service

The guided breathing, the mood log and the calm statistics are there to keep you company, not to diagnose or treat anything, and they don’t replace help from a professional. If you’re having a hard time, talk to someone you trust or to a health professional.

What isn’t allowed

You can use the app for your own personal use. Copying it, selling it or distributing modified versions isn’t allowed.

No warranties

I do my best to make the app work well, but it’s provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will always be free of errors or available. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes

The app may change with updates, and so may these terms. If they change in an important way, you’ll see it in the app or on this page, with the date at the top.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you’re a consumer, you keep the rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and you can go to the courts where you live.
